A Special Thanks to Our Midwife

We had our last appointment with our midwife, He Hu,
on Wednesday. Ajax weighed 13 pounds and measured
24 inches long. This picture is of He with Ajax when he
was only 2 1/2 weeks old.

Glad not to be pregnant anymore!

Mike and I got Tony Hawk, Mike Vallely and Andrew
Reynolds to sign my belly when they were in Winnipeg
to skate at our new Skate Plaza.

Before we moved in to our place we had to do way
too much work fixing it up, it was exhausting!

Angie and I made a cast of my pregnant belly, it was a
really cool way to celebrate being pregnant, especially
if your pregnancy is a bit frustrating.

Mike's Story Reposted: "I am a Doctor"

I am a Doctor.

Every day, I make decisions that affect people's lives.

I live in a town called Winnipeg.

Sometimes it's foggy, like London.

Sometimes, it's snowy, like Hong Kong.

I work in the most sophisticated Hospital in the city.

On one particularly snowy night,

I met a young woman who was with child.

She told me she'd had ten children before,

and I was surprised.

I decided the eleventh one would be free.

So, Pro Bono, I removed this little guy from her womb,
Post Haste.

He is a wonderful specimen.

The patients are bonding nicely, and I sleep better on my giant pile of money.

Ok, so it's happened :)

The little guy is here, and Lani is doing good after her C-section.

He was born on December 30th, at 22:17hrs.

The boy's name is Ajax Peter Michael Napoleon Zastre,

He is Eight Pounds and Six Ounces and Twenty-One Inches long.

Getting Started

So I'm not so used to this Blogger stuff, I've been going the easy way and been using MySpace, however it's not so good for family who want to view pictures of Ajax. It's going to take a little getting used to, but I hope you will enjoy the snipits into our lives.
